Suite of online services benefits customers

Pacific Gas and Electric Company, based in California, has introduced a suite of new and upgraded online services that make it easier for customers to ask for new service, manage bill payment, and analyse energy use.

PG&E’s e-Bills online billing and payment service allows both residential and small business customers to receive bills by e-mail and pay online. Residential customers are also able to log on to analyse bills and view up to 24 months of billing and usage history; start, stop and transfer service; apply for energy-efficient product e-Rebates; and obtain a PG&E letter of credit to show lenders their account history over the past year.

The utility’s web site also offers financial assistance options and energy efficiency tips designed to help customers manage their energy bills.
