GoodCents Solutions has announced a contract with Flint Energies to provide the electric co-operative with a state-of-the-art direct load control implementation in its “Switch and Save” demand response programme. GoodCents will provide Flint with project management, device installations, call centre services, customer care services and device maintenance. The programme specifies the installation of 90,000 TWACS devices on heat pumps, air conditioners, pool pumps and water heaters over a ten-year period.

GoodCents staff have been directly involved with the installation and management of over 1 million direct load control devices, and new DLC equipment installations planned for 2005 total over 100,000 for utilities such as Southern California Edison, Cinergy and Commonwealth Edison. /
