Tucson Electric Power upgrades customer care solution


US utility Tucson Electric Power is a long-time user of SPL WorldGroup’s CIS PLUS customer information system. Now it is moving to CorDaptix, SPL’s more advanced customer care and billing solution, to serve its 360,000 customers.

CorDaptix offers a richer set of options that make it possible to respond to specific customer needs, including sophisticated interval data and billing options and sales and marketing features that give utilities the specific CRM functions they need. The CorDaptix solution is also easier to use, reducing training costs and errors, and offers extensive deregulated functionality for utilities facing retail competition.

TEP expects to save money through the process improvements and consolidations. The utility has also committed to a four-year maintenance contract.
