US Utility Chooses Customer Care Option


Green Mountain Energy, a US-based utility offering cleaner electricity products, has signed a ten-year agreement with Alliance Data Systems Corporation, whereby Alliance Data will provide customer care services for Green Mountain customers. These include comprehensive billing and market management services, including hosting and operating the utility’s customer information system (CIS); managing billing operations; and providing customer self-service tools.

Using Alliance Data’s existing IT infrastructure will allow Green Mountain access to new tools and capabilities to enhance customer care, without any additional up-front investment in IT upgrades. Alliance Data’s scalable platform is capable of accommodating the utility’s future growth and expansion plans.
