Jensen joins ComEd after eight years at ICF Consulting, where he served as vice president. Before that he worked for the U.S. Department of Energy from 1994-1999, where he directed the Chicago office from 1996-1999. He also spent 11 years at the Illinois Department of Energy as manager of strategic planning. Jensen oversaw Illinois’ statewide electric and natural gas integrated resource planning program. In all, he has more than 20 years of experience with utility resources planning, energy efficiency and renewable energy programs.
Jensen holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Hamline University and a master’s degree in Public Affairs from the University of Minnesota.
