Abstract: The UK water industry landscape has changed dramatically. Following privateisation, organsations now face comprehensive regulation, inclufing the loss of the right to disconnect domestic customers. This papershows how Yorkshire Water and other utilities have adapted and evolved their customer service and collections processes in line with appropriate resources, training and improved system capability.
