Silicon Valley Forum has partnered with Avanta Ventures to launch a new event programme for startups.

The launched FinTech Pitch Night will begin on August 8 2019 to help startups in the insurtech, mobility and new customer experience industries to expand their businesses.

In addition, the two organisations will also be hosting morning venture capital office hours for early-stage companies throughout the year.

Denyse Cardozo, CEO of Silicon Valley Forum, said: “It’s not every day we get to start a new series in a brand-new accelerator space! This partnership is a great opportunity for our community to sync up with a collaborative, innovative venture firm—the Avanta team is working to disrupt legacy industries like InsurTech and Mobility, alongside next-gen tech like Blockchain, and we can’t wait to see the opportunities that grow from this new venture.”

Sanjiv Parikh, Managing Partner at Avanta Ventures, added:  “At Avanta Ventures, we take a comprehensive investment approach that includes not only capital investment, but also dedicated resources, deep industry expertise, as well as business development opportunities for our portfolio companies. Partnerships with leading organisations like Silicon Valley Forum are a critical component of this and enable us to further engage with the Silicon Valley ecosystem.”

The event series begins on August 8th with a FinTech Pitch Night (interested startups can apply here).
