Jordan issues tender for supply of metrology infrastructure solution

In Jordan, water utility Aqaba Water Company has issued a tender for supply, installation and maintenance of integrated electronic metrology infrastructure solution.

Aqaba Water Company provides water and sewer services to 26,000 and 20,000 subscribers respectively in the Jordan province of Aqaba.

The release of the tender comes at a time, the water utility is also working on providing e-Payment services to allow its consumers to pay bills electronically through credit cards.
