Romanian power utility issue tender for supply of smart meters


The contract will include installation of the smart meters in Low Voltage Areas in country’s Muntenia, Dobrogea, Banat region, within a period of 24 months.

Enel is currently the largest private investor in the Romanian energy sector, with operations in distribution and supply of electricity, and the generation of electricity from renewable sources to some 2.7m customers.

The utility started operating in the country in 2005.
