Triple Point Technology, a global supplier of cross-industry software platforms for the movement of commodities, has appointed Brad Hamlin as its new vice president of client care. Hamlin previously served as sales director for Triple Point.

Conlog, a prepayment meter manufacturer and part of the Schneider group, has announced the appointment of Jaap Grobler as general manager. Grobler was previously with the Schneider Global Business Development division in France.

Contact Energy of New Zealand, an electricity and gas utility, has appointed David Hunt as chief executive. Hunt is the first New Zealander to hold this position.

KEMA, a consulting company, has announced that Michael Mahany, Robert Grant and Garrett Johnston have joined them, Mahany and Grant as senior executive consultants, and Johnston as a consultant.

Cannon Technologies has appointed Denny Branca as director of substation systems. Branca was previously with Xcel Energy.

Brooks Utility Products Group has named Elijah Stewart as a new southeast district sales manager, based in North Carolina. He was previously with Austin International.

Gestalt, a business and IT firm working in the energy industry, has announced the appointment of Richard Wodyka as senior vice president of energy and utility services. Wodyka was formerly COO of the PJM Interconnection.

The board of directors of the United Power Line Council (UPLC) an alliance of utility and technology companies working together to drive the development of broadband over powerlines, has elected Bob Gerardi to serve as the utility co-chair of the board. Gerardi, manager of powerline communications for Duke Power, follows Leif Ericson, manager of business development for Southern Telecom. He will serve a two-year term.
