BPL infrastructure partnership for Latin America established


Vancouver, Canada and Santiago, Chile — (METERING.COM) — October 30, 2008 – A partnership has been entered into between power line and coaxial networking product provider Corinex Communications Corp. and engineering and technical solution provider in Latin America Synapsis, to provide and install world class Broadband over Power Line (BPL) infrastructure in the region.

Synapsis specializes in providing engineering and technical solutions for the telecommunications, information systems, telecontrol and environmental industries, while Canadian-based Corinex is set to provide BPL products that will be used in installations to support connectivity in homes, multiple dwelling units (MDU) and “last mile” links on electric lines for broadband services as well as utility applications.
