Brad Kitterman joins Aclara as president


Brad Kitterman, a utility industry veteran, has joined Aclara as its President.

Kitterman served most recently as President and CEO of Asahi Glass Company’s North America Division. In addition, he was President and Chief Operating Officer of Walter Industries’ $500 million U.S. Pipe & Foundry business and served as President of the North America Energy & Utilities business of LogicaCMG, which specializes in helping utilities get the most out of asset management and GIS systems.

Kitterman began his career at Schlumberger as a development engineer in its Electricity Metering Division and also led its North American Engineering Group. Subsequently he served as president of Schlumberger’s North America Utilities Division, where under his leadership revenues doubled from $300 million to $600 million in four years through both internal growth and acquisitions such as Cellnet Data Systems and Convergent Group.

Kitterman is a graduate of Auburn University with a B.S. degree in electrical engineering.
