Britain’s smart metering program – overview of latest developments


On April 5, Britain’s Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) published its latest set of documents associated with the Smart Metering Implementation Program. These publications describe the latest smart metering policy positions and questions from the government in a series of consultation papers and responses, together with updated Impact Assessments describing the cost-benefit case for smart metering in Great Britain for the domestic and non-domestic sectors.
