Tom Moulton is currently the President of the Ontario Water Works Association-A Section of AWWA and has been a member for almost 20 years. The Ontario Water Works Association (OWWA) is a voluntary membership organization of drinking water professionals dedicated to protecting public health through the delivery of safe, sufficient and sustainable drinking water in Ontario. The OWWA works closely with several other associations in the industry, such as the Ontario Municipal Water Association and the Ontario Water Works Equipment Association. The OWWA also has a strong relationship with the Ministry of the Environment.
Tom is in his 6th year serving on the Board of Directors. Over the course of his time with the association, he has worked on many committees, including Conference Management (twice), the Young Professionals, Distribution, Publications and Membership. One of Tom’s commitments during his term is to increase the visibility of the OWWA within the Universities and Colleges in Ontario through the creation of Student Chapters. This will help students become aware of all the opportunities in the Drinking Water Industry and provide networking contacts. Since his position with the OWWA is voluntary, Tom’s paying job is Manager of Emco Corporation’s Waterworks Branch in Mississauga, Ontario. Here he works closely with contractors and Municipalities in the GTA, providing them with their sewer and water material requirements.
