Dan Pastoric has been appointed to the position of executive vice president and chief operating officer of Enersource Hydro Mississauga Inc., effective October 1, 2008.
Pastoric's experience within the industry includes both public and private sector companies. He has held senior positions with Ontario Hydro, Energy Advantage Inc., Ontario Hydro Energy Inc. and ECNG. His most recent role was senior vice president, operations and customer service with E2 Energy Inc. where he was responsible for working with customers to develop creative solutions for their energy management and growth strategies. He also served on the Ontario government's Market Design Committee and as a member of the Board of Directors of the Independent Market Operator (now the Independent Electricity System Operator).

Pastoric holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering and a Masters of Business Administration, both from McMaster University.
