Porto Alegre, Brazil and San Mateo, CA, U.S.A. — (METERING.COM) — April 13, 2011 – ELO Sistemas Eletronicos (ELO) has selected eMeter’s EnergyIP® energy information management platform to address the data management and integration requirements for its end-to-end smart meter solution for the Brazilian utility marketplace.
In response to Brazil’s push to replace up to 63 million electric meters in the country by 2021, ELO is developing a complete large-scale smart metering and information management solution for its utility customers to help increase automation, address non-technical losses, and improve energy reliability and quality.
