EURELECTRIC elects Fulvio Conti as president, Tomasz Zadroga as second vice president


Fulvio Conti, CEO of the Enel group, has been elected president of EURELECTRIC, and Tomasz Zadroga, president and CEO of Polish energy group PGE, has been appointed as second vice president.

Both will take up their duties with immediate effect, joining vice president Dr Johannes Teyssen, CEO of E.ON, who was elected last year.

Conti is CEO and General Manager of Enel SpA since May 2005, after joining the group in 1999 as CFO. During these years he conducted the transformation of the Italian company into a major global energy group. Previously held positions include GM and CFO of Telecom Italia, GM and CFO of the Italian national railway, and CFO of Montecatini. He began his career in 1969 with the Mobil Oil Group, where he held a number of executive positions in Italy and Europe.

Zadroga was appointed president of the Management Board of PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna S.A. on August 1, 2008. His mandate has since been extended for a second term. Since 2008 he is also president of the Polish Electricity Association and a member of EURELECTRIC’s Board of Directors. He graduated from the University of Łódź, where he majored in International Economic and Political Relations, and has since held numerous executive positions, including at Inter Cars, IC Development & Finance, Adidas Polska and ABB Polska.
