Gabriele Riedmann de Trinidad, has been appointed as Vice President AMS, of Landis+Gyr’s new Advanced Metering Services (AMS) division for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), effective November 1, 2008.
In her new role, she will develop and manage the AMS business and ensure that Landis+Gyr customers are provided with a wide range of services during and after advanced metering management (AMM) implementation.
Riedmann de Trinidad joins Landis+Gyr following 16 years at Siemens/Nokia Siemens Networks, where she significantly increased revenue through the development of mobile networks in 14 countries, including Mexico and Indonesia. She also identified and facilitated best practice exchange across Europe and the Americas.
“I am very pleased to welcome Gabriele to Landis+Gyr. Her extensive experience is a highly valued addition to our company and I am looking forward to working with her to serve our EMEA customers even better than before,” says Ad van der Meys, executive vice president Landis+Gyr EMEA.
The announcement comes as AMM implementation takes shape across central European markets. AMS from Landis+Gyr compliments its AMM portfolio, offering utilities the opportunity to profit from full service provisioning.
Earlier this year, Landis+Gyr consolidated its European and UK/prepayment businesses, forming Landis+Gyr EMEA. Led by Ad van der Meys, the organization offers utilities across the region systems and services that enable them to optimize their value chain and empower their customers to manage energy better.
