Geraldo Guimarães Jr. has been appointed chief executive of BPL Global Latin America. One of the first advocates of commercial and technical solutions for intelligent networks and detection of theft, Guimarães has the knowledge and skills to accelerate BPL Global’s business in the region.
Guimarães began his career in CELPA SA, an energy distribution company, where he held several positions, including CIO. He was also director of business development at LogicaCMG, a global IT company, and director of sales and marketing for Elucid Solutions SA, a Brazilian software company. Guimarães has established and led successful partnerships with IBM, Oracle and SAP to provide software solutions to gas and energy companies in Latin America.
