Accra, Ghana— (METERING.COM) — September 4, 2006 – Joseph Kofi Adda, the Ghanaian Minster Joseph Kofi Addaof Energy, has announced a drive by the government to cut down on energy consumption and thereby reduce energy costs in the country. All government buildings, including residences, will soon be fitted with prepayment meters, and aggressive measures such as cutting down on the use of air conditioners will also be introduced.
