Guyana Water goes live with HiAffinity billing solution

Georgetown, Guyana — (METERING.COM) — July 27, 2006 – Guyana’s public water and sewerage services provider Guyana Water has implemented the HiAffinity billing and customer management solution.

HiAffinity, from DST International, is expected to lead to significant quality and productivity improvements, and ultimately cost savings for the utility, with features including standardization of billing arrangements, cash collections and debt recovery.

Guyana Water was formed in 2002 with the merging of the Georgetown Sewerage and Water Commissioners (GS&WC) and the Guyana Water Authority (GUYWA), and has 145,000 residential and commercial customers throughout Guyana. The utility is managed by the UK-based Severn Trent Water International.
