PRI appoints Gas Metering Design Engineer


Peter Thompson has joined PRI’s International Product Development team as Electronics Design Engineer – Gas Metering. Peter will work with the Development teams in the UK and India to produce new Gas metering products for PRI’s UK and International Export markets.

Peter gained his MSc in Electronic Engineering at Portsmouth and has over 20 years of engineering experience, this includes over 14 years experience in Gas related technology. Peter joined PRI from Sensus Metering Systems where he worked on designs of  very low power Ultrasonic Gas meters, for both domestic and industrial applications. 

Peter’s appointment is part of PRI’s business expansion program which is aimed at addressing a wider range of metering markets and developing a broader base of utility metering products and solutions.
